Need to Move Your Piano? We will move, restore and deliver!
We will move your piano and restore your piano in a single trip.
Our company does not offer piano tuning as a standalone service, and there is a very good reason why. After more than 30 years of experience with grand and baby grand pianos, we know that while a single piano tuning may result in a marginal improvement, piano tuning itself does not address any of the underlying, structural issues that are critical to the proper maintenance of your instrument. Even the most gifted piano tuner cannot produce a tuning that will stay in tune if your piano's structural integrity has been degraded by time, moisture, and other factors.
Over time even the best, most expensive pianos will eventually develop structural problems that will need to be addressed. If you find that your piano does not stay in tune for long, even when the proper room temperature and air moisture content is maintained, it is probably time to have the structural components of your piano repaired or rebuilt. For example, it's a fact that over time the hammer felts will eventually ware out. The hammer spacing will shift and become uneven. The strings will shift and need alignment. The piano will need to be voiced and the keyboard will need to be regulated. As you can imagine, these and other tonal and structural refinements will not only increase the value, it will heighten the sound quality and add decades of life to your piano. Your piano will live and sing again.
People often imagine the piano as being simply an oversized guitar, but the piano's interior is much more complicated than it looks at first glance. Certainly, pianos reflect the highest creative achievements in musical instrument production. But unlike with most other musical instruments, pianos are often left to sit exposed and unprotected when not in use. There are covers available, but more often grand and baby grand pianos sit uncovered, often with their lids open. Even within the cleanest of environments, the accumulation of dirt and debris collects on the soundboard, felts, strings, and bridges. Ever so slightly and slowly, these elements eat away at your piano. Tuning your piano will not address such issues.
If your grand or baby grand piano does not need complete rebuilding and refinishing, we recommend beyond regular tuning care -- regardless of how often your piano is being used -- our comprehensive mechanical and tone refinement service. We recommend this service be performed about every 10 years.

You will notice immediately how your newly restored piano improves the quality of your life. The before and after differences will astound you.
If the structural aspects of your piano have weakened over the years, even the best, most professional piano tuning will not stay in tune for long. In fact, we have found that within the industry, the very best piano tuners won't even approach a piano for tuning unless the structural aspects of the piano are in tip-top shape.
